Best Wheel Ever April 12, 2013

This is the best wheel I have ever had for my chinchillas.  At first I was very skeptical because of the cost, it just seemed very high for just a wheel.  I have had other wheels in the past, both plastic and metal.  The plastic wheels would always end up getting all chewed up, and break, plus I kept reading about how bad a plastic wheel is for chinchillas.  I have had the saucer kind, which was not a bad wheel, it would get a little loose at times and make noise, but not all my chins picked it up.  So I decided to just go for it and get this wheel.  First off it is 15 inches in diameter as advertised which is the perfect size for a chinchilla.  It also has a very wide running surface so that they are comfortable.  The wheel must weigh about 10 pounds if not more, and the bracket on the back keeps it tight against the cage so the noise is very minimal if any.  My chins loved it from the first day I put it in there cage, and it is so easy to clean and maintenance free.  Thanks ChinnieShop from the Lutgers, and Star, Puffs, Snowball, and Snuggles!
